The DEAD line
Yeeeaaahh!!
We finished our project today and are proud of our end result.
We celebrated it with a shot with our group.
We are curious how the rest of the groups did it. What did they end up doing.
See you tomorrow

D-DAY
Olla,
Here we are again; back in the editing room and working hard. We had an amazing day in Christiania with a lot of cops. They didn't like us too much, especially since we were filming them, but we are badass!
We are working together, better than ever. We are motivated to make something cool out of this film. One of our group members was unstoppable yesterday and stayed in uni until 1 am. But we all have different times on which we shine the most. For me it's the mornings and for Jakson and Sasha its everything after 3pm. But that doesn't matter as long as we put our best foot forward and work together.
Bembembem. We have to go back with making our presentation.
Hopefully you'd be happy and surprised by what we are making for the last few days.
See you tomorrow! :)

A new week, a new plan

CADOK logo
The three of us knew that we didn't deliver the best presentation on Friday. Clearly, we were still in our research phase but things have changed. We are now proud to present that we will spend a day of filming with the people from CADOK in Christiania.
See link below to read more about them -->

On Tuesday, we are going to film a day in Christiania. We will follow the journalists who make videos for CADOK. Today we spoke to a guy who has been working as a journalist for a long time and even consulted for the BBC. Now he's been living in Christiania for the last 5 years. He uses his camera as a defence against the police.

The Eve of the Presentations
After some deliberation we got on with our separate tasks to ensure we were ready for the class presentations tomorrow. Each of us got to work on the slides and conducted a number of interviews. We were able to find some willing candidates for the interviews, and despite the average quality of our footage we came away with some useful insights. As discussed and agreed upon in our sparring session, we sought more emotion surrounding our chosen areas of research. Punctuality was also a hot topic of discussion and it will certainly improve significantly in the weeks to come!
Just a pic of us beating the shit out of lateness! ;)

Business as Usual
Today the 'dream team' met for a conference meeting early in the day. Fuelled by coffee and the desire to learn we commenced the gruelling task at hand; research. Individually, we jumped on a computer and focused on an area of interest. The time today was devoted to research as we began compiling our notes and findings from the web. Hilde powered ahead and has began creating the powerpoint presentation for friday's class. Sasha and I can also add our findings to this and tomorrow we will be able discuss with Sørren. After our meeting we will then have time to make the necessary changes and complete our slides for the class presentation. Moral is at an all time high with every group member present and well today! That's all for now, check in with you later.

Tuesday update
As mentioned in the previous post, today wasn't the best of starts, but we still managed to come up with a plan. The three of us agreed to focus on the idea of sustainable agriculture in an urban setting. This isn't as challenging to work with as some of the other ideas we had but is still just as interesting for a TV-concept.
The class started with some sort of spinning yoga exercises that I missed but sounded like fun!
Besides that, it was alright. Sørren introduced us to the different kinds of hats in concept development and asked the groups to use them in the context of our different topics. Hilde and I worked on a rough presentation about the different hats in rooftop gardens while updating Jakson, who was unfortunately locked outside his home. The exercise got us thinking about our idea some more and to look at it from different angles. It seemed like some of the other groups had done a lot more research on their topics and given it a lot of thought. Some of their ideas could potentially turn out pretty well. We felt like we needed to do the same and really think about the different approaches within our topic. The three of us talked over Facebook to figure out a plan and decided that Jakson and I would ask our respective roommates about their views on rooftop gardens/sustainable living . Hilde has come up with some questions that we could use.
After lunch, we came back to watch an good but rather long film about Creativity. The speaker, John Clease, was quite funny and really emphasised on the different conditions required for creative work. Sørren suggested that we use these methods to keep an open mind when approaching our assignment for Friday. He doesn't think it is a good idea to really narrow down our topic so early in the development stage and to explore some more. That the plan for tomorrow. Hopefully, it will go better than today!
